Holy Redeemer, Days Lane, Lamorbey

In quiet suburbia with a large garden area to the front. It was designed by A.S.R. Ley and built 1933. The interior has been realigned to face the long wall, leaving the chancel as a small chapel.

Bishop Ridley Church, The Green, Falconwood

In the far west of the borough of Bexley, a small, evangelical church of 1957-58.

Church of the Good Shepherd (former), Blackfen Road, Blackfen, DA15 8PT

Built in 1967, but not used as a church since the late 1980s. It is now used as a community hall.

St John Vianney, Heathfield Road, Bexleyheath (Roman Catholic)

In a quiet street behind the town centre. Built in 1958-59 to replace a 1930s church. It was designed by Henry Bingham Towner.

Christ Church, Broadway, Bexleyheath DA6 7EE

An impressively bulky church side on to the Broadway, next to ASDA. It was designed by a William Knight of Nottingham 1872-79.

St Olave, Old Jewry, City of London (former)

A Wren church of 1671-79 which was demolished in 1892, apart from the tower which is now part of an office development.

St Olave, Hart Street, City of London

A small church of the 13th and 15th century. Restored at various times by G.G. Scott (1863), A Blomfield (1871) and Ewan Christian (1891-92). Following war damage it was restored 1951-54 by E.B. Glanfield.

St Mary Somerset, Upper Thames Street, City of London

A Wren church of 1685-94, demolished except for the tower in 1869. It sits next to one of the busiest roads in the city.

A domed church by Wren 1681-86, damaged in WW2 and restored by Godfrey Allen 1945-57.

St Giles Cripplegate, Barbican, City of London

In the heart of the Barbican development, but predating it by over 400 years. It was built 1545-50, badly damaged in WW2 and rebuilt by Godfrey Allen, opening in 1960.
