St Barnabas, St Barnabas Road, Sutton
In the “New Town” east of the town centre, this is a church of 1884-91 by Carpenter & Ingelow. The east window is late Morris & Co.



























































All Saints, All Saints Road, Benhilton
In a commanding hill-top position as you come north out of Sutton. It is by S.S. Teulon and dates from 1863-66. Most of the 19th-century glass was destroyed in WW2 and has been partly replaced by glass by John Hayward and Goddard & Gibbs. In the 1980s the church was struck by lightning, damaging some of the chancel and Lady Chapel but the damage has been restored invisibly.

Away from main roads. The church is by J.T. Micklethwaite and Somers-Clarke and dates from 1891-93.


































































Christ Church, Christchurch Road, Colliers Wood
A short way south of Colliers Wood tube station. It’s a church of 1875 by F. & H. Francis. The post war glass is by Miles & Rachel de Montmorency.
