St John the Baptist, Erith
Well north of the modern town centre, sitting in a large wooded churchyard. It is a medieval church heavily restored 1877 by Habershon and Pite who added the south porch and north aisle. Inside there is a collection of brasses and other monuments from prior to the restoration. In the vestry there are some medieval tiles from Lesnes Abbey and a fireplace surround made of fragments of the Abbey.
