St Margaret Clitherow, Grahame Park (Roman Catholic)

At the southern end of the central area of the Grahame Park Estate. It dates from 1973 and was built by Lanner Construction, after a design by Steel Bretman & Partners.

 
   
 

Mary Immaculate and St Gregory, Union Street, Barnet (Roman Catholic)

Off the centre of Barnet, the church was designed by Lanner of Wakefield in 1977 and was extended towards the road in 2017. It was reopened in September 2017, after a year’s closure. The engraved windows are by Sally Scott. The final pictures are from April 2017, when the whole building was being gutted and the extension added.

St Catherine of Sienna, Chessington (Roman Catholic)

Set well back from the main road that leads to the World of Adventures, a rather nondescript exterior designed by Lanner of Wakefield and dating from 1975.

Christ the Eternal High Priest, Brentwood Road, Gidea Park (Roman Catholic)

A parish founded in 1963. but the church is by Lanner of Wakefield dating from 1974. Since my first visit in 2013, some of the furnishings such as the altar and pews have been changed.
