St Edmund, Larkswood Road, Chingford Mount
Designed by N.F. Cachemaille-Day and built 1938-39. The interior is relatively untouched and several later fittings have been added in the spirit of the 1930s.

Christ the King, Chingford Rd, Walthamstow E4 8SP (Roman Catholic)
By a fearsome road junction near the old Walthamstow Greyhound Stadium. It was designed in 1996 by Scott Tallon Walker. The main church is semi-circular, with a small chapel on the opposite side of the entrance area.

St Theresa, Eastern Avenue, Newbury Park (Roman Catholic)
Alongside the busy Eastern Avenue, it dates from 1951-52 and was designed by Donald Plaskett Marshall.

All Saints, Church Avenue, Highams Park, E4
Up a side road near the station. By J. Lee and Sons dating from 1897-98. It was built as a chapel of ease to the parish church, but that has been demolished, the reredos and pulpit come from that church.

St Andrew, Chingford Lane, Woodford Green
A small chapel, the architect seems unrecorded but the church dates from the late 19th century with later additions. The worship area is in the wing topped with a cross and the hall is at right angles to it, linked by the newer entrance area.
