St Paul, St Paul’s Road, Brentford

Just behind the main street and the town centre church for Brentford. The original building is of 1868-69 by F & H Francis, but in 1990 the church was rebuilt by Michael Blee Partnership. The tower, spire, south and east walls were retained but a new building was constructed between and to the north of them. St Faith, Windmill Road, Brentford

North of the Roman Catholic church this is a building of 1906-07 by Bodley and Hare. It has been closed but has now been back into use in 2025 with a refurbished and reordered interior.

St John the Evangelist, Boston Park Road, Brentford

In the north of Brentford, almost under the M4. It is a small church of 1866 by J.T. Jackman.

  
   
   
 

St Leonard, Heston Road, Heston

In one corner of a huge churchyard, only the 15th century tower remains from the medieval church, the rest having been rebuilt in 1863-66 by Thomas Bellamy. Many memorials reamain from the previous church. Our Lady Queen of Apostles, The Green, Heston (Roman Catholic)

A large church, set back from the main road north of the parish church. It was designed by John Newton of Burles, Newton and Partners in 1963. There is dalle de verre glass in the former baptistery and the side porch designed by Pierre Formaintraux. St Vincent de Paul, Wultham Road, Osterley (Roman Catholic)

The present church dates from 2004 and was designed by Jos Townend. It is set behind the original church of 1933 by T.H.B. Scott which is now the parish hall. Most of the glazing is green tinted which accounts for the curious mint effect in the pictures.

   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   

St Mary, Osterley Road, Spring Grove, Osterley

The church for the contemporary Spring Grove estate. It dates from 1856 and was designed by the estate’s architect J. Taylor. impressive windows of 1866 by Robert Bayne, plus two in the nave by Veronica Whall.

 
   
   
   
      
   
     
   
   
   
   
 

St Mary the Virgin, Worton Road, Isleworth

The current church was designed by Harry S. Goodhart-Rendel in 1952-54. Next door is a wooden building with a brick porch of 1931 which was the previous hall/church.

 
   
   
   
   
   
   

St Luke, Kingsley Road, Hounslow

This small building next to Hounslow East tube station was built about 1880 as a mission church (from St Mary, Spring Grove) to railway workers.

 
   
 

St George, Castle Way, Hanworth

At the edge of Hanworth Park. The north and south nave walls remain from a church of 1812 by James Wyatt but are subsumed in a church of 1865 by S.S. Teulon. Photography is frowned upon here
