St John the Evangelist, Duncan Terrace (Roman Catholic)
An impressive front with two towers. The church was built 1841-43 by J.J. Scoles. the north tower completed by F.W. Tasker 1877.

St Mark, Myddleton Square, Clerkenwell
Built by W.Chadwell Mylne of the New River Company (1826-28) whose water supply channel finished nearby. The interior was bombed out in WW2 and reconstructed in a simplified fashion.

St Mary, Upper Street, Islington
Islington parish church. The tower is from 1751-54 by Lawrence Downbiggin, the body of the church was rebuilt after the 2nd world war by Seely and Paget 1954-56. The focal points are the double pulpits and a reredos which holds 8 paintings by Brian Thomas.
