On the edge of the town centre, this was built as St Paul’s Presbyterian Church in 1901. It remained with the United Reformed Church on amalgamation in 1972 and was later used as a community hall called St Paul’s Centre. In 2023 it was acquired from the URC by the Romanian Orthodox church to become their principal church in the UK.
