St James Norlands, St James Gardens
The centrepiece of a private square, it dates from 1844-45 and was designed by lewis Vulliamy. The chancel was added by R.J. Withers in 1876.

St Clement, Treadgold Street, Notting Dale
Not far from Latimer Road tube station. The church dates from 1867-69 and was designed by J.P St Aubyn. The chancel is divided off, but its south aisle is still used as a Lady Chapel. The interior is much more spacious than the exterior suggests.

St Sava (Former St Columb), Lancaster Road, Ladbroke Grove (Serbian Orthodox)
Built by C. Hodgson Fowler in 1900-01 as St Columb Anglican church it is now a Serbian Orthodox congregation. The interior is decorated in typical orthodox fashion.

Our Lady of the Holy Souls, Bosworth Road, Kensal Town (Roman Catholic)
An large and early J.F. Bentley church of 1882 facing a park and the Anglican church on the opposite side. The reredos dates from 1889, although it has been reduced in size since then.
St Thomas, Kensal Road, Kensal Town
Built in 1967 and designed by Romilly Craze in replacement of a war damaged church, whose foundation stone is preserved inside.
St Francis of Assissi Community Church, Dalgarno Way, North Kensington
Built in 1935 but closed and then reopened in 2004. The frontage hides a rather drab exterior.

St Pius X, St Charles Square, North Kensington
Built in 1908 as the chapel for St Charles College by P.A. Lamb and R. O’B. North. Now a parish church whose dull exterior hides a vibrant interior.

Just north of the Westway and Ladbroke Grove station, this is a curious looking church of 1870-71 by James Edmeston Junior and J.S. Edmeston.

St Barnabas, Addison Road, Kensington
Designed 1825, but built 1827-29 to designs by Lewis Vulliamy. There is 20th century Morris & Co glass in the sanctuary, and one by Byam Shaw in the entrance area created under the gallery. He is also memorialised in a painted memorial on the north wall. Both walls contain many, mainly simple, memorials
The Assumption, Kensington Square (Roman Catholic)
Just behind the old Barker’s store on the High Street. It dates from 1870-75 and is by George Goldie. All pictures are from the west end which is locked off behind a glass screen.
