Hidden away on a small back street this is a church by Henry Jarvis of 1859-1860. The tower was formerly taller with a saddleback top. Inside there are considerable number of Anglo-Catholic fittings. some by Comper, and curious iron columns of a rogueish design.

Super images of the church Andrew – many thanks for making them available. I have used one to illustrate some family history research ( a purely pro bono project). Two ancestors (not mine) were married here in 1900. Images of the church marriage registers are available on Ancestry.com.
You’re welcome. I’m very pleased if anyone want’s to use images for personal non commercial use.
Non-commercial assured! Zoot Horn Rollo?
