St Gabriel, Warwick Square, Pimlico

Built 1851-53 and designed by Thomas Cundy II. The spire was repaired by J.P. St Aubyn 1887-88 and Arthur Baker added outer aisles in 1895-97. The high altar is by John Francis Bentley 1890 and there are many other furnishings by Powells from the late 1890s.

St Mark, Hamilton Terrace, St John’s Wood

The nave is by Thomas Cundy II from 1846-47, the spire was completed in 1864 and rebuilt in 1955. The chancel and porches were added by Benjamin Ferrey in 1866-78. The images below are from late 2014. Late on 26 January 2023, the church caught fire (cause unknown) and is currently a burnt-out shell. The remains are stable, but its future is unknown as of January 2023. The set of post-fire images further down,  were taken on 31 January 2023.

St Barnabas, Pimlico

1847-50 by Thomas Cundy II. The chancel was decorated in the later 19th century by Bodley. A Lady chapel was created and decorated by Comper with much Kempe glass added to the windows.

St Michael, Chester Square, Belgravia

An evangelical church built in Belgravia as the focal point of Chester Square. The architect was Thomas Cundy Junior and it was finished in 1844-46. It is in a pre archeological gothic style. A war memorial chapel was added by Giles Gilbert Scott in 1921
