A church of 1873-74 by Ewan Christian, badly damaged in WW2 and rebuilt 1954-55 by A.P. Robinson of Caroe and Partners. At the rebuilding, the chancel was refurbished as the worship space and divided off by a glass screen from the nave which became a hall. To cope with increased use the nave is now, again, the worship space but facing the south wall, and the chancel is used for a variety of purposes. Outside the wall around the east end has been replaced by a narrow curved public cafe added since my visit in 2013. That set of images is retained at the end as a comparison with the current look of the church.

2013
