The church replaced a war-damaged church of 1894 (see b&w image below) and now serves the Silwood Estate. It was designed by Covell Matthews and Partners in 1960, in a style reminiscent of Cachemaille-Day.

    Great website, but I noticed that it should be St. Katharine not St. Katherine (see blue plaque in second picture above). Also, the url has it with an “e”.
