My husband and I married in St Jerome’s Church in October 1964. My family worshipped there from the late 1940’s (my sister and I attended Sunday School) and the Rev. Menzies was Vicar at that time. We moved away from Hayes in the 1970’s. We are both in our late seventies now and seeing the photographs brought back many happy memories of childhood and early married life. The world appears to have changed so much during our lifetime and it’s good to know that certain aspects of our lives remain constant whilst at the same time embracing
the new and exciting things around us.
