Built in 1963-1964 and designed by Henry Bingham Towner. Inside the main church is lit by a complete set of windows by Murphy Devitt of Dublin, dating from 1964. There is also a separately walled chapel near the entrance area.

I’ve visited this Church on-and-off since the late ’70’s. Towner must have been a modest man , as there’s no reference in the building to him anywhere. Perhaps someone can tell me if it’s so in the other churches he designed , too ? Thank you.

I meant , just now , on the ” Datestone “, next to St. Michael’s ,on the former Barclays Bank , as the example referred to.
    Thank you
