All Hallows, Chertsey Road, Twickenham
The tower of All Hallows, Lombard Street in the City of London was erected here in 1938-1940 alongside a new church by Robert Atkinson. Many of the contents of that church of 1686-94 by Christopher Wren were also re used in the new church as were some from St Benet Gracechurch and St Dionis Backchurch. The interior is bedecked with flags of the nations in the 2015 Rugby Union World Cup as the church is only a short way from Twickenham stadium.

St Laurence, Whitchurch Lane, Little Stanmore
The body of the church was built in 1715 by John James to effectively act as a private chapel for nearby Cannons owned by the Earl of Chandos. The 15th century tower was retained from the old parish church. The ceiling was painted by Laguerre and the walls by Sleter. The east and west end ceilings are by Bellucci. On the north side is the anteroom and main Chandos Mausoleum built 1735-36 by James Gibbs and housing the huge Grinling Gibbons monument to the Duke of Chandos and his wives. The walls and ceiling are decorated by Sleter and G. Brunetti. The whole building is an overwhelming baroque experience.

All Saints, Uxbridge Road, Harrow Weald
Set well back from the road between Stanmore and Harrow Weald. This church started as a chancel of 1842 designed by J.T. Harrison. Nave and aisles were added by William Butterfield in 1845. In 1889-92 he took down the north aisle and added a new gabled aisle and tower. A west gallery was added in the late fifties and the west window blocked. Removal of paint in 2013 uncovered a painted and tiled decorative scheme by Butterfield in the chancel.
