This building of 1982 by Nigel Melhuish replaces a previous church of 1864-1867. The worship area is extendable into a hall and an intermediate space between them. The calvary and war memorial triptych are from the previous building.

I was one of the carpenters that built this church. I have lived in the area since 1986, 3 years after it was built. Ive always had an intrest in the spring water of Wells Park and where the source was. I recently found out that the church was built on the site of the springs. Does anyone know more about the springs?
