Actually on the Common, It was built in 1774-76 by Kenton Couse. the portico was added in 1812 by F.Hurlbatt and the chancel in 1903 by Beresford Pite.

    Francis Hurlbatt enlarged the portico in 1812 not 1912 (Pevsner). He was long dead by 1912.

    According to the Architectural Review, vol 16, issue 97 of 1904, there are a number of bronze panels in this church supplied by the Bromsgrove Guild of Arts and Crafts. Contemporary pictures suggest they might be behind the organ. Can anyone confirm or even provide a picture?
